Encrypted, in transit and at rest
The site and the app are HTTPS only. Traffic between the browser and the service uses TLS. Files and records are encrypted at rest by Google Cloud. There is no public bucket and no anonymous link to a case file.
A project of its own
Prosecutor IQ runs in a dedicated Google Cloud project, separate from every other product. Storage is private. Every request for a file is checked against the signed-in office. One office cannot open another's cases.
Your cases are not training data
Files are processed in that United States project to produce the office's work product. They are not used to train or improve an AI model, and they are not kept for some other purpose.
Sign-in, and a wall between offices
Sign-in is Firebase Authentication, with multi-factor authentication. Inside an office, people are owners, collaborators, contributors, or reviewers, and an office manager can be any of those. Platform administration stays with the office account. A reviewer can see status. A reviewer cannot rewrite the file.
We do not browse your files
Personnel do not open case files in the ordinary course of running the service. Administrative access is limited to a small number of people, protected by multi-factor authentication, and logged. We open a file when the office asks us to help with a specific problem, and only for as long as that takes.
Deletion
An office can remove files from the product. An office can also ask for the account and its content to be deleted. Questions about retention go through the request form.
