The office uploads
Documents, audio, video, and images go on the case as they arrive. The office uploads the file. The work starts from that.
The case file is built
The upload is read, and the facts that matter are pulled out: who is involved, what was said, what is charged, and what is due. The case file is assembled from that record. The agents cite every fact back to the page, the quote, or the moment it came from. The reading and the parsing are finished before a prosecutor opens the case.
The decisions are laid out
Tasks are assigned to the staff who have the work. Contradictions are marked against the rest of the file. Legal research is proposed for a prosecutor to review. A timeline is generated, and motions come back as drafts. The other points the case turns on are on the file as well, ready for a decision.
A prosecutor decides
A prosecutor accepts, edits, or discards each draft.
A set rate
The rate is set from the cases the office handled in the past 12 months. That count estimates the year ahead. The contract is one year, with no onboarding fee. Axon routinely requires five or ten years, and Axon and others add a $15,000 minimum.
